Environmental regulations and the consequences for not complying with them demand the use of an environmental laboratory that strictly complies with EPA protocols. Environmental chemistry analyses must be performed using approved techniques, the resulting data substantiated with good quality control information and the analyses performed in a timely manner within the allowable regulatory time frame for each parameter. As well, the resulting information can be rendered useless unless the samples are handled in the prescribed manner and are traceable to their origin using appropriate chain-of-custody procedures.

ERMI has diligently adhered to all EPA protocols since the company was established in 1983. Our quality program has endured rigorous audits by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) , environmental and engineering firms, water and wastewater authorities and other entities. In each case, our procedures have met or exceeded expectations.  Additionally, our laboratory is certified by the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP), Certification Number T104704232-08C-TX. 

ERMI offers a variety of services to address a broad range of environmental issues. To provide these services, we employ a multi-disciplinary staff or chemists, scientists, regulatory experts, field and laboratory technicians and support personnel who are all experts in their fields. All chemists and many other employees have earned degrees from accredited colleges or universities and have extensive experience in performing their assigned tasks. These individuals, coupled with our modern laboratory and experience, enable us to provide our customers with top-quality service.

One of ERMI's greatest strengths is our experience. We provide services to a significant number of industries and government agencies. Included among them are mining, utility, steel, pulp and paper, chemical, environmental, engineering, manufacturing and other industries ranging in size from small companies to large corporations as well as a number of municipalities and water and wastewater authorities.
